DIY of the Day: Fall Leaves Garland

I am in love with this fall craft idea from 6th Street Design School. It’s easy, inexpensive, and looks FANTASTIC! The leaves are so pretty and glittery. You can hang them across a fireplace, wrap a railing or column, or even to dress up your business space for the season. Once you’ve assembled all the supplies, it should only take about ten minutes to assemble the craft.

– Artificial leaves  (purchase from the Dollar Store or a craft store)
– Elmer’s glue
– Glitter in autumnal colors
– Ribbon
– A hole punch

_ paint brush

You’ll need a bag of artificial leaves. Use a hole punch to punch a hole at the top of each leaf. Next use a paintbrush to apply Elmer’s glue to each leaf and then sprinkle glitter over the leaf. Let the glue dry and then shake off the excess glitter. Attach a ribbon that you can tie to a large ribbon strand. Alternate lengths of ribbon for tiered look.
